ALRIGHT THEN. A while ago, I started recording demos with my lovely genius friend Vegar. An hour into our first session I knew I wanted to put a whole EP into his hands. We carried on building our demos and finding our sound, all the while knowing that he was moving back to Norway three months later. Three months passed, he moved and we still wanted to work together, in person. SO we hatched a devious plan. I bought a plane ticket, and a train ticket, and another train ticket. We finished the EP across the North Sea in his hometown of Geilo, Norway. I feel so incredibly lucky. This collection of songs is a time capsule, with our surroundings driving the direction of the tracks and influencing the decisions we made. Me and Vegar have been sitting on these songs for a while, and it’s finally time for them to reach your ears. The first one we made together, “I Feel Better Now”, will be yours this Friday, August 2nd. Loads of love xx

hello hello and happy new year !! i am kicking the year off by headlining @soundsoftheoblack ´s lovely open mic night @things.ive.been.up.to tomorrow at @hydeparkbookclub . I’ll be on right at the beginning and then will hand over to the people to come up and play - a guaranteed beautiful evening. (pls note it is TOMORROW (MONDAY) and not the 9th - the typo has now been seamlessly corrected as you can see) i’m really nervous but also excited about the year ahead. i have lots to share with you that i have been sitting on for a while. tired of sitting and ready for sharing. it’ll be with you soon x

wowowowoww i am still buzzing over last week. i can’t tell you how much it means to me that people want to pay money?? to hear us play?? and even better, that so many of you know all the words to a silly song i wrote in my bedroom????? insane!!!!! smiling forever time for the thank yous as there are a lot of people i couldn’t have done this without. first and foremost, my band. @joshaitkenmusic @emxliu @schimmusic @selfievegar you have all been there with me since before marnie glum even existed - what a journey it’s been!! i am so so lucky to play alongside such talented musicians, and so grateful for all the hard work you’ve put into making my songs sound decent. 😌 massive thank you to an honourary sixth member of the band, the amazing @marnillus (YES SHES ALSO CALLED MARNIE YES ITS WEIRD). what would i have done without you?? not only did you design the merch AND print it w me but you were also my right hand gal for the whole tour organisation. thank you for running the door, selling the merch, driving half the band here there and everywhere and generally being my absolute saviour!! i don’t think this all would have happened if you hadn’t been there every step of the way. i love you so much and am so grateful ❤️ thank you to all the sound techs at the venues @joelsuterfoh , Danny and Dave. you were all fab fab fab and helped it run so smoothly. thank you to the venues for havin us too! @thefulfordarms @wharfchamberscc @northernquarter_huddersfield thank you to the amazing supports we had on each night. you all astound me every time i see you! @everythingaftermidnight @epiloguesmusic @thesoundofmodesty @eleanorjoymusic @penny_music_ thank you also to co-headliners @lyerrband in huddersfield! 💖 thank you @nathanlukefilms and @wellshoot_itsmorgan for taking some lovely pics and vids ❤️ finally, thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and came to see us. cannot describe to you how much this support means to us - you were all great crowds too and we loved every second. 📸 i am terrible and have lost track of who took which photo so pls message me or comment if u took one of these lovely ones:)))
